Tapia's relatives die as he lies in hospital



ALBUQUERQUE (AP) - While five-time world champion Johnny Tapia was upgraded to serious condition Tuesday after being hospitalized in an apparent cocaine overdose, his family was mourning the loss of two of the boxer's relatives.

Former champ Masamori retires
Former WBC super flyweight champion Masamori Tokuyama has announced his retirement after failing to set up a bantamweight match. 'I feel refreshed. I feel like I took a load off my shoulders,' he said on Thursday.

Tapia's condition upgraded to fair
